Vanish-Extra by Superior Threads is a stronger thread for machine or hand basting, trapunto, quilting, appliqué, heirloom, and numerous other uses. This water soluble thread is extra strength for worry-free sewing. If you need a strong water soluble thread and can wait a few extra seconds for dissolve time, this is it. Use a #80/12 needle.
